As an educator, I occasionally forget that the learning isn't just for the students. My swift reminder came in the form of a technology survey known as the Digital Competency Wheel.

I've always considered myself to be a rather tech-savy individual, particularly with hardware (I built my first computer when I was 14). Unbeknownst to me, modern digital competency encompasses a wide variety of skills. That being said, I was genuinely surprised at my results.

As expected, most strengths lie in troubleshooting and info-seeking.

This might suggest that I'm quite competent. However...

I seem to be running deficiencies with skills that are most valued in the field of education.
